As part of its energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, Exceldor integrated a solar photovoltaic installation at one of its industrial facilities. PP Deslandes carried out the electrical work required to integrate the solar equipment with the building’s existing electrical infrastructure.

Challenge

The installation had to be completed in an active industrial environment while taking into account the building constraints, the characteristics of the existing electrical network, and the requirements associated with integrating on-site solar power generation. The work also had to be coordinated to minimize any impact on plant operations.

Result

The project enables Exceldor to generate a portion of its electricity directly on site using solar energy. The installation helps reduce the amount of electricity drawn from the utility grid and supports the facility’s broader energy efficiency initiatives.
